WHAT TO EXPECT
Lisa is a UKCC Level 2 Qualified Dressage Coach as well as a BD Youth Coach and BD Youth Assessor.
She has recently completed Testt® training for coaches with Andy Thomas to specifically help riders with asymmetry. Lisa is fully insured, a qualified first aider, safeguarding and DBS checked. She teaches riders of all levels and disciplines, including Para riders and dressage for driving.
Her approach is friendly and professional and takes you and your horse's goals and abilities into consideration.
When you arrive for the first time, we discuss your short and long term goals and assess your and your horse's abilities. You will be given detailed feedback and together we develop a training plan from there.
Short term goals usually relate to either a specific aim for your lesson or something you want to achieve in the near future. Long term goals stretch over several months or years, and can be aiming towards your first competition should this be something you wish to achieve, stepping up the levels or just the general desire to improve specific riding skills to keep your horse fit and healthy.
Training plans always remain flexible and will be amended according to needs - they are a great way to keep your focus and motivation. Lisa is knowledgeable and a very versatile trainer who is flexible in her approach to bring out the best in horse and rider.
